Global Media Hub extends ABC accreditation to include cruise ships

Global Media Hub has again been accredited as a Bulk Distribution Associate by ABC and, for the first time, its cruise ship distribution at Southampton Cruise Terminals has been added to the accreditation.
As an ABC Associate, Global Media Hub demonstrates its ability to report and prove its bulk (free distribution) processes to industry-agreed standards.
The accredited rack network is merchandised on a daily basis to ensure the latest magazines are available at the Southampton Cruise Terminals.
With the cruise market particularly buoyant in 2015, this trend has continued in 2016 with a record number of passengers passing through Southampton. Global Media Hub’s exclusive and now ABC accredited distribution is an opportunity for publishers to take advantage of the booming cruise market, says the company.
Matt Pryce, Commercial Director at Global Media Hub said: “Once again we’re delighted to achieve the gold standard of ABC accreditation to give our publishers added peace of mind when utilising our services. The addition of our exclusive cruise terminal distribution to the accreditation is of particular importance and highlights the hard work the team in Southampton have put in to meet the ABC standards.”
Jan Pitt, Executive Director of Client Services at ABC, said: “Congratulations to Global Media Hub for achieving accreditation as a Bulk Distribution Associate for the second year running. After our audit team visited the Southampton cruise ship operation, it was clear GMH's systems and processes met ABC standards and we were pleased to include this element of distribution within their ABC accreditation. The ABC stamp of trust shows Global Media Hub's expertise and commitment to working to industry agreed standards on behalf of its publishing clients.”
